Student Organization Event Collaboration

Team up with the Center for Student Involvement for your next event!Ìý

If your student group or social Greek organization is recognized by the Center for Student Involvement and in good standing, you can ask to work with CSI on an event. This could mean joining one of CSI’s event series or just working with CSI on something new, as long as your organization's mission fits with CSI’s goals.Ìý

Benefits of CollaborationÌý

Here’s why collaborating with CSI is a great idea:ÌýÌý

  • You’ll get fair and clear support to help your group partner with CSI events.Ìý
  • CSI staff will guide you through planning events that might be bigger or more complex than what your group could do on its own.Ìý
  • Working together helps your group and CSI both reach our goals.ÌýÌý

If you’re interested, CSI staff will review your request and reach out if it’s a good fit. You and CSI will work as a team to plan and run the event, and after it’s over, both sides will reflect on what went well and what could be improved.Ìý

What to ExpectÌý

When you team up with CSI for an event, you can expect to:Ìý

  • Have a good experience working together and learn new things through a clear and helpful process—all leading to a great event.
  • Get a better idea of how to plan, run and review events from start to finish.
  • Work with CSI staff and students to plan and pull off your event and then look back at how it went to see what worked best.
  • Achieve your student group’s goals and mission more effectively.Ìý
