Music Day (Monday, Nov. 10)

Music Day, our annual open house,听invites students in grades 9-12 to live a 鈥渄ay in the life鈥 of a music major. Observe classes, see a performance, meet faculty听and more!听Music Day is open to all interested high school students. Each student may bring one guest. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.听

8-9 a.m.鈥擶elcome + student performance
9 a.m.-noon鈥擟lass observations, meet + greets, special events

All-State preparation workshops听

Are you planning to audition for the Colorado All-State Band or Orchestra? 精品SM在线影片 faculty are pleased to offer the following FREE workshops to help you prepare your best audition yet! Registration is required. Registration links will be available here in mid-September.

  • Percussion All-State Prep Workshop: Sunday, Nov. 2 (9 a.m.-1 p.m. MT)

Join Associate Teaching Professor and Head of Percussion Michael Tetreault and Assistant Teaching Professor of Percussion Carl Dixon for coaching on the 2025 All-State percussion excerpts鈥攑lus general tips for audition preparation. Additionally, stick around in the afternoon to record your audition tape using top-notch equipment (optional). Light breakfast and snacks will be provided.

  • Strings All-State Prep Workshop: Details TBA

Tour the Imig Music Building

Tours of our state-of-the-art Imig Music Building are available each weekday during the school year and on select weekdays in the summer. Tours are led by current students and include a Q&A with admissions staff. Register听.

Complimentary tickets to ticketed College of Music performances may be available to prospective students and their guests, subject to availability. To request tickets, email听undergraduate.music@colorado.edu听with the date of your visit. Please allow at least one week鈥檚 notice.
